Contest – Last Chance to Enter If you’ve got product ideas that you haven’t written down yet, that little bit of time could earn you one free round trip domestic airline ticket within the continental US (or opt to receive a $500 cash prize in lieu of the airline ticket). But your time is running out because all entries must be in by May 1, 2006. To enter the first annual “Ideas Take Flight!” contest, send us three (3) ideas for product improvements or new products for 2006 and your name will be entered in a random drawing. All entries must be emailed to:
admin@apconnections.net. What are your ideas? New Products, New Features MAC Shaping We are pleased to announce that in response to popular demand we have added a new and improved MAC shaping feature. Now you can enter a customer by name and associated MAC address in our GUI screen and set rate limits for this customer. As some of you may know, this popular feature exists on a competitor’s product, which has hit end of life. Now there’s even more reasons to get and stay with NetEqualizer! We welcome those potential customers who were waiting on this feature to make their changeover. For those of you who already have NetEqualizer, the upgrade is available now. Write to support@apconnections.net or call us at 888-287-2492. Onsite Training Congratulations to our Newest Graduates Resellers asked. Customers asked. For customers who have many installations, they really want to be on top of bandwidth shaping and control. Companies who see our product and want to represent it, need to know all the ins and outs. We offer live on-site training. It takes a day and we’ll fly to your location. A test insures mastery of the units and their usage. Three companies successfully completed the training in the last month. Ai Bridges is a leading supplier of innovative broadband communications solutions and services for the telecom industry. Their offices are in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. They will add NetEqualizer as one of their network management products. Foundation Telecommunications, Inc., is an innovative telecommunications services company serving broadcast, cable, business, government and educational clients on a worldwide basis. They are based in Rogers, Arkansas. They’ll be offering NetEqualizers to offer solutions to their many customers. AVCI.net offers internet access to most of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula with an accelerated dialup service and serves the Upper Thumb Region with high speed broadband. They have a stated dedication to state of the art technology, and keep their customers connected with the help of NetEqualizer. Congratulations to all! ON PARTNERS AND BRAGGING You’ve reached a quintessential point in business when your product has no service effecting issues. NetEqualizer has arrived at that point. For the last six months, no issues have surfaced. None. Any “problems” have been system-specific and surmountable, usually easily. It’s a great feeling. We have to give credit where credit is due, and that would be to say that the recent surge in reliability is a direct result of an informal partnership with Candela Technologies. Candela Technologies specializes in a broad range of traffic simulation and testing software. As you can imagine as with all products installed in a network, reproducing subtle field issues in a test lab can be maddening. But Candela does it reliably. With their Lanforge line of equipment you can root out almost any issue in your network. It is what we use in house and the pay-off is immeasurable. Thanks, Candela Tech; we both get bragging rights to your results. ##
